Our History

Jet Engine Management Ltd was founded in 2009 by Simon Mermod.  Headquartered in the UK, the aim of JEM is to provide all-encompassing aviation powerplant consultancy support for airlines, lessors and financial institutions across the world in technical, financial and commercial jet engine management.  

Since its formation JEM has expanded its portfolio of services to include Fleet Management programs, Shop Visit Management programs and Consultancy services for a range of aircraft powerplant including, but not limited to, CFM56 engine series, Rolls-Royce Trent and BR700 series, IAE V2500 plus a range of GE powerplants.

JEM has built up a wide range of customers since its formation, with a focus on providing each customer with a unique tailored package of services designed to fit their specific needs, JEM prides itself on its relationship building and long term relationships.

In 2017 JEM opened its new HQ in Tec Marina, Penarth, UK.
